The horse was wrapped in the wire, some of the barbs had cut into its hide, the blood had trickled down the side of its neck and legs. It must have been fighting for a while because the blood and sweat had mostly dried and it was breathing heavy. He took his wire cutters and approached her slowly, she struggled again and tried to get up to her side.
